Will Murai is an illustrator / graphic designer from Brazil. He creates some really wonderful digital paintings, from comic strips to t-shirt designs. The image above is called, Mpeg Layer Three. It was obviously inspired by the new generation of ipod users, with many modern elements. Murai’s sketches, concepts, studies and textures are created in the traditional way, using papers, canvas, pencils, charcoal, watercolor, etc. Only the painting and coloration process is achieved with the use of Computer and tablet. In this example, Coral Painter and Illustrator were the software of choice, used to accomplish the final painterly and sublime result.
