Ron is the master of “popaganda”, known for his satirical interpretations of commercial iconography. For his latest show “The Secret History of Kiss”, Ron creates Bouguereau styled paintings with traditional regal and religious subject matter that have Kiss themes to them all. It really doesn’t matter if your a fan of kiss or not, as each one of the oil paintings on show is a masterpiece. Interesting, but nowhere near the original’s technique & quality.

Quite true! It’s merely digitized reproductions of the original oil paintings. Thus, bringing into it a whole new dimension of colors and details and textures that makes each painting a completely different work of art from the original ‘traditional based’ versions.
