Pictorial, obsessive, sexy, playful, erotic and provocative are perhaps the best keywords that describe Ida Belogi’s portfolio-B-9. Rome-born Belogi, comes from a traditional background of fine arts (oil painting, sculpture, etc.), though shes emerged as a supremely gifted illustrator with outstanding technical mastery. Her drawings represent (mostly) young females in erotic, sexy, sensuous and amusing poses, often coupled with subtle ironic twists. She works predominantly with vector images, but she doesn’t leave her connection with traditional techniques behind. For It is through these traditional approaches she’s able to explore and challenge conventional use of the softwares with beautifully fresh paradigms. (NSFW) Examples follow the jump.

Just a note: Her online portfolio (b-9) is an excellent reference for anyone who’s interested in delicious vector eye-candy. Sample some flavors below.
