Maren Esdar’s Uniquely Stylized Illustrations

Am sure you’ll agree, the photograph has long been the medium of fashion, but contemporary illustration is transforming how the industry is presented, big time! It’s therefore no surprise that the new generation of illustrators are making ampful use of digital media and techniques, with rich confluence of styles and results. One such “bleeding-edge” illustrator is Maren Esdar from Hamburg, German. Although his online presence is very sparse, this presention shows some incredibly lush, dynamic and surrealistic imagery. In this showcase, Esdar draws on historical references, particularly from the Baroque period.

Thanks so much for informing me. Unfortunately your right - a word to word copy of my Ron Mueck post. I’ve just visited his/her blog and it seems there’s no email address I can write to, nor open comment form on his/her blog. But fortunately there’s other ways…
