Art of Natalie Shau

Atonement
Natalie Shau is a talented young digital artist from Vilnius, Lithuanian. She specializes in blending photo manipulation, 3D design and digital painting (using mostly photoshop) to create her often creepy, gothic, doll, fairytale figures. Natalie’s inspiration for these wonderful renditions comes from lowbrow artist’s such as Ray Caesar, Trevor Brown and Mark Ryden. Her style is a macabre to grotesque “baby art”, heavily influenced by religious imagery and fantasy art.
She recently did the cover of Elegy (41 issue), a french gothic magazine with her “Black Widow”. Natali’s works have also been featured in Imagine FX (future publishing), Photo Art, IEVA magazines, Aboba, Le Calepin Jaune fanzine and more. She has also been commissioned to produce album cover art for Century Media, Nuclear Blast, Black Lotus Rec. etc.
You can view more of Natalie’s outstanding deep-pop inspired imagery on her website. She also has a collection on her deviant gallery pages. Here’s some samples below….

The woman seated on a park bench on a path, dissolving in the wind is brilliant stuff. Shau paints erotic with a true hint of a shiver running up the spine.
Thanks for bringing this together.

This work is really good stuff. There is serious talent here and well expressed. The compositions are, in a word, profound. The deep sense of feeling cannot be denied. I would have such work in my house.
