Scott Gustafson - Chamomile Green Tea Panda Bear’s Tea Party

Celestial Seasonings is a tea company based in Boulder, Colorado, United States that does more than specializing in certified organics and all-natural teas; It also promotes extraordinary artists to create the beautiful and often whimsical illustrations featured on their packages. The Chamomile Green Tea illustration (above) by American artist Scott Gustafson is one of the many beautifully stylized and color rich examples, often seen injecting new life into their packaging . Incidentally, the panda image came to Scott while sitting in a Chinese restaurant, and as he looked around, a panda bear came to mind right away, he recalls.

Scotts extensive background in storybook illustration gave the panda bear tea party scene a storybook feel. However, for an oriental feel for this piece, Scott researched the regions flora and fauna. View [23] more of Scott’s work and other Celestial Seasoning selected artworks after the jump.

I love these paintings. Could you possibly get the paintings for Sleepy Time Tea and Honey Vanilla Chamomile Tea? They have bears on them.
